Search the ACC Library Online Catalog
Search this link to find material owned by the ACC Library:
- Search for ACC Library material by subject, author or title.
- When you find an interesting item, write down the Library of Congress call number to locate the item, of print the page.
- If the item is out, it will list the item as "1 owned/1 out"
- The ACC Library Catalog lists:
- 5,000 reference books, on the Library's main floor;
- 55,000 circulating books, on the Library's upper floor.
- 1400 local history books and other material in the Hill Collection.
- almost 3000 videos and DVDs, almost 300 books on audiocassettes and CDs, more than 600 music CDs.

Circulating books
and audiobooks may be borrowed for four weeks with an ACC student
identification card or photo ID. Community members may borrow them by
obtaining a Community Borrower
Card at the Circulation Desk.
DVDs, videos and music CDs may be borrowed by faculty only to use in classes. Students and community members may use the media material in
the library.

Book Talk Podcasts
You can download and listen to free books talks held at Cornell! They range in length from about 30 to 60 minutes each.

Search Other Libraries' Catalogs
You can easily find what's owned by other libraries. The two most popular collections to search are:
- SALS/MVLA (Area Public Libraries) -
This catalog contains the combined holdings of local public libraries,
including Crandall and Saratoga Springs Public Libraries.
- WorldCat
is a world-wide online catalog listing almost 100 million books and
other material owned by libraries around the world. The database
displays a list of libraries that own the books. Log on with your ACC username/password, or go to this version, WorldCat.org, for a free account. Or, use the WorldCat tab above! See the WorldCat FAQ for more information.
You can visit the library or ask a librarian to borrow items through interlibrary loan.
