- Article Databases tab - links to current magazine and journal articles from the library's subscription databases

- Opposing
Viewpoints Resource Center offers a preliminary list of controversial issues.
- Internet Public Library Social Issues - left-side column lists high-quality sites chosen by librarians; great for ideas.
- http://www.procon.org/- controversial issues site by a nonpartisan non-profit group.
- CQ Researcher - This source takes two forms: print and electronic. Each weekly issue offers research on a current controversial issue. The print version is in the Reference Collection at Ref. H 35 .C672 (1993-present).
- Alamo Colleges - Palo
Alto College lists many current controversial issues. (As of April 1, 2010, site was down.)
